Safety Management System
FMV Test and Evaluation (T&E) conducts verification and validation (VoV) operations on both mature and immature systems. This means that the activities that we conduct are often of such a nature that consequences of mistakes or misjudgements can be dangerous for employees and the environment. FMV T&E must therefore strive for operational safety and quality to be core and integrated parts of all its operations.
Risk management at all levels must also be a natural part of all FMV T&E operations. Health and safety and quality are crucial success factors for us. They are the prerequisites for a good working environment, minimisation of risks, management of resources and better handling of serious incidents should they occur.
Operational safety focus
The below orientations and value-based factors shall form the basis for all work within FMV T&E.
- The risk of accidents and serious incidents can be minimised.
- Safe work or no work. We do not take chances; unsafe work is interrupted. Our staff should feel confident they are safe in their daily work.
- Everyone within FMV T&E, from organisational leadership via managers to all employees, is involved in maintaining a good safety culture.
- Well-balanced, well-known and respected regulations guarantee safe operations.
- As regulations change, we are constantly working to review our management system.
- A clear and open culture of responsibility that encourages a high willingness to report in all situations. This lays the foundation for the experience gained to be disseminated quickly and for future risks to be minimised.
- Safety and quality work is a natural and integral part of all operations within FMV T&E.
- Risk management both before and during our VoV operations and other operations takes place in a methodical and well-established manner and is respected by everyone involved.
- We have an open discussion regarding the continued design and development of our routines.
