Letter from the Brigadier General
The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) is the sole agency responsible for the procurement, development and delivery of material and services for the Swedish Armed Forces. We bring together specialists from a vast range of areas; technology, engineering, business, law and project management – all different yet important parts that come together to form a whole – one committed team, built to deliver. It’s this team that enables us to meet the needs of the Swedish Armed Forces - in peace, crisis and war.
FMV Test and Evaluation (T&E) forms a vital part of that system. With our leading competence and extensive resources for verification and evaluation, we contribute to FMVs goal to deliver the right equipment for a stronger defence by ensuring the equipment, weapons and vehicles delivered are both safe and fully functional.
In addition to supporting the Swedish Armed Forces, we also have the capacity to support both domestic and international customers. We offer our customers unique opportunities to test, evaluate and train in the most realistic settings possible before facing the ultimate challenge.
